Appleton, Wisconsin

So work is sending me to Appleton, Wisconsin next week, Tuesday night through Friday.

Anyone near the area? I will be missing my weekly Wednesday night beer can racing....

I spent some time up there for robotics school a few years ago. Nice little town with decent German food. Hope you meet up with someone in the area to go sailing. Milwaukee isn't too far away. I went there and back on a 'school night' with no problem.

Door County (a little to the north), is pretty.

Re: Appleton, Wisconsin

Neenah Nodaway Yacht Club. $100 membership, @$300 for a plug. Racing every Tuesday night. (not me) Lots of boats for sale in the area. Most of the boats in the harbor are 22-28 cruisers. The club has small race boats if you like speed over comfort. Lake Winnebago is 8x35 miles. Max 26 feet deep. I know all the rocks in my area.....
