My seaon is screwed GRUESOME IMAGE much inproved



my job has it fair share of hazards and i seem to follow the rules and avoid bad things





so in a life full off sharp moving stuff i had a lax second cutting the top off a plastic bottle

it was fun watching the surgeon pull the tendon back together

Its just a flesh wound.

Sorry to see this happen.

I fell at work and on the way down grabbed a bookcase. The sharp edge of the shelf cut half way through the tendon on my little finger. While the surgeon was stitching it back together I asked him if I would be able to play the piano afterwards. He stopped, looked at me and asked if I could play before the accident.

Heal fast Tom. The tendons on top of the hand tend to heal well, unlike the tendons on the other side. In that sense I guess you're lucky.

Fortunately, I didn't get the tendon when I cut my thumb. Being in the bayous of Louisiana though, with nary a doctor for miles, it came down to duct tape, neosporine, gauze pad and the broken off handle of a plastic fork. No stitches, no scar. Just keep it immobile and it should heal up fine.
