Rudder Washers

I have been looking for the rubber washers that go over the rudder shaft and are located between the top of the rudder and the bottom of the hull. Approx size is 1 3/4 OD and 2 inch ID. Thickness 1/8 to 1/4 inches. Either split or complete. I have looked in the local chandlerys, hardware stores and ebay with no success. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Thanks

Re: Rudder Washers

I would think there somewhat custom to each brand of boat as there is really no standard rudder post size

All of mine have a much wider face as 1-3/4 x 2 would only have a 1/8 wide surface and i would think you would want 3/8 to a 1/2 face

Sounds to me like you're looking for rudder bearings. These are often made of Delrin. What kind of boat? Like Tommays says, they'll be custom but someone probably makes them.
