Look closer, those are actually carbon fiber rudders painted with a "aged wood" finish in order to catch the enemy off guard!

Re: Darkside My A$$

We've got ourselves a little beach-cat too. Can be quite exciting when you get one hull (what we call them) out of the water, something the adventurous son tries to do whenever we take it out.

Obviously, you want a decent amount of wind for them though. They are not fantastic on a run or reach in light winds and it's just not worth trying to head up into the wind without a decent breeze. Of course, on those days, we take out the mono and fly the kite

That trapeze rig is for 30 something year old guys. When you get to be my age the 2 hulls get bigger to accommodate the liquor cabinet and big screen TV. It's time you went shopping for a real boat. Check the link in my sig

This is the way to do the darkside. Resist the darkside Luke, errrr I mean Smack.

Unless your name is Dennis Connor there ain't no way your having a BFS sailing FLAT.

Sure they can anchor where I can't.
Sure they always get there 2 hours before me, and then we do always secretly hope drinks are on their boat cause well it's awesomely spacious.

And well yeah their big screen TV and liquor cabinet often makes it hard leave.....

But you must resist these temptations.

One hull is more than enough for any man.

Two hulls is well just damned unnatural.

How did you organise the chopper so quickly dude?

I could probably sail my car in 70 knots
