Congratulations.

Can I make a suggestion?

It is time to change that avatar of yours and put your pretty face forward.

Re: Announcing Our Newest Moderator

Wonderful to have you on board Donna.

Surely we've all been seriously impressed by Donna's contributions since she joined SailNet even though half of us initially mistook her for that bloke she seems to hang around with. Yes it might sound a tadge patronising but having a woman on the Mod Squad is no bad thing and when that woman has the sailing smarts that Donna so obviously has it just keeps getting better.

That none of the old farts on the squad have taken much part in chat and Donna is very active there was a consideration though I have to say to all you chatterers that the number of complaints we have received re Chat has been minimal and I for one thank you all for being so considerate. Heck, even the number of complaints we get re the Sewer is tiny so kudos to you all.

A few hours on the job, and already cracking the whip... What'll I do until 5:00?
