Name my boat! Balboa 8.2
 

The time has come for this ship to receive a name, due to my own lack of creativity, I have come for help. Here are some contenders.

Trouble - A friend came up with this one, seemed pretty appropriate.
Entropy II - Last boat was 'Entropy'
Knot Thinking - Dingy could be 'Thinking Now'
Trailer Parked Queen - I trailer right now, thinking about getting a slip though.
Rocky - Thanks JoeDiver
LotsaKnots / CouplaKnots - Thanks kcbiw
Stockholm syndrome - by puddinlegs

I'm having issues committing to any of these, I could never see myself calling in to the coast guard while in need of help and saying 'We're Knot Thinking'. Something important to consider with boat names I guess.

Hold off naming the boat until you have sailed her a few times. Took us almost 3 years
before finding our boats name.

We have the same cute boat! Renamed her this spring. Be sure to do it "properly". How about LotsaKnots. Dingy could be CouplaKnots.

YAY!!! Someone else who has this boat. I was beginning to think I had the only one! I like that name too. When did you get yours? Do you trailer and rig every time? I am dying to see your system for mast stepping as I am still trying to develop mine. So far nothing I've tried seems reliable and safe. I have a million other questions for you as well, hopefully we can help each other out a bit.

Friend of ours has a boat named Prelude. I suggested his dinghy be named 'Postlude.' And then his wife suggested that the Captain be just lewd.

Whoa. I suggest you call Rob and the two of you hook up for info. Our boat is in the marina. We were just talking about making a boat trip and I said "Are you fricking kidding? That mast is a nightmare." but that's just me.

How about "Cat's Eye" its a jewel, kinda like your boat.

Here's why...

It's a Balboa which immediately means the Rocky movies, which make me think of of the song Eye of the Tiger, which makes me think of Tiger's Eye which of course is another name for the jewel "Cat's Eye"
