Re: need a trailer

A boat trailer, not a utility. You can modify one built for a small motorboat, the bunks unbolt. Find a manual on trailering so you can balance it. The winch post also unbolts. Small tires are better for shallow ramps, bigger ones better for long highway trips.

Re: need a trailer

I needed a new trailer for my boat, albeit a bit bigger than yours (27 ft). I went to a company called Loadmaster which custom built my trailer based on measurements that I took for them. Their website is www.loadmastertrailerco.com and below is a pic of the trailer they built for me.

These guys could probably build you one (but at a price, I imagine):

Re: need a trailer

I have a sunfish on a small motorboat trailer both are for sale...$ 600 I live in KY. What I did to get a trailer is purchased a motor boat with a bad engine tossed out the boat. I then changed the tires on the trailer to a smaller size with a smaller rim. you can buy tires on new rims shipped to your home for less than what it cost to have new tires put on the old rims. A post before me wandering star said this and it works pretty good. I would look for old motor boats near your location. Good luck Lou452
