Houston area marina

I am moving my Islander Freeport 36 to the coast from Lake Texoma to some where around Houston this fall. Does anyone have suggestions of a good marina to recommission and that would let me do some final preparations and repairs before relaunching.

Re: Houston area marina

Seabrook Marina has a full service yard. I am not sure about the do it yourself regulations at this yard. I think DIY yards are not very plentiful around here.
Hopefully some one else may be able to speak about a DIY yard in the Clearlake area as I will be looking at a haulout in the near future.
We have had our boat there a couple of years and really like it. They have quick access to the bay but the best feature is depth. When the winds are out of the N or NW for a day or so, tides can run pretty low and some of the marinas will have depth issues. We have never had an issue getting out.
Early welcome to the Clearlake area to ya.
