cracked spreader

i have wooden mast and i have cracked a spreader the boat is a cheoy lee 33 i hope someone may have a suggestion on replacing one without pulling the boat out of the water

Post this on Gear and Maintenance. That said I don't see why you couldn't loosen the uppers and safely climb the mast to remove the broken spreader.

Be sure to rig a halyard or two to support the mast before you pull the shrouds loose.
