Cool "I Got a Boat..."

I mean I've had it for awhile....I picked it up last fall, worked on it all winter and spring...Launched it, taken it out a few times...

But it's just starting to sink in, that "I Got a Boat...!!!" a big (to me) sail boat with a head and galley that I can travel in, sleep in, cook and eat in.. anchor out sleep under the stars, weather the storms, enjoy the sunrise and sun sets over the water...

I belong to a yacht club ("If you need me, I'll be at the yacht club") I hang around at the marina, I've anchored out in a quiet bay on the islands...My Buddy has a boat too, we've gone out on his, sailed up to the abandoned Haunted lighthouse, cooked on the grill and motored home in the dark...

I got a Boat..!! ...This is so cool...

Glad you enjoy it! Now wait until something major breaks and you have to pay for it!

Re: "I Got a Boat..."

Congrats on the boat... I'm going to look at one this weekend. I am excited by it and can see myself, like you, newly excited by the boat every time something happens and I can say, "I got a boat!".
Fair winds to you, and stay excited, after all, You have a boat!!!!

good deal squid!a py is a pretty good boat and fixing/upgrading one own boat makes for a very intimate relationship, I doubt you will soon forget your time with her,I kindof pity the people who can afford/buy a turn-key boat, again congrats

Yeah it is... For an E-Bay boat I lucked out pretty good...

Now that I'm seeing other makes and models at the piers, I'm pretty happy with what I got... Not too big (for my skill level) not too Small (to enjoy with family and friends) and she's looking pretty tight compared to some I see tied up, or on the hard...

Been getting a lot of compliments too at the docks, pump out and landing...

Now I just gotta push thru the work week so I can get out again on the weekend(s)...

Re: "I Got a Boat..."

Grammar police alert!
It's "I've got a boat" but I know what you mean.

You should feel proud Squid. I know how much sweat equity you put into your boat's bottom this year.

Lookin' good.
