Question Any Interesting Islands In Puget Sound?

I have three free days/two nights coming up and I want to go check out any cool small islands or out of the way places in South Puget Sound South of Seattle. I'll be sailing from Shilshole and was thinking of checking out Eagle Island. I'm thinking I should be able to make it there in a day, if I start shortly after sunrise. I'm looking for remote places to anchor and sleep on the boat. Any Thoughts?

Re: Any Interesting Islands In Puget Sound?

how about that one in the middle lower part of the pond on the right! I heard it was a city of seattle park, pretty BIG one too!

along with, do not know where eagle island is or is not. but you there are quite a few state parks in the south sound one can take a boat to and tie up t bouy's etc. ALong with one on the NE corner of bainbridge. A number of folks I know like to go to port madison and anchor out. blake is another, all are a pretty close depending upon wind and tide.

I've been to those places already. They're all great, but I'm looking to branch out a bit farther. Hummmmm...
