USCG supposedly doing an extensive search of eastern Lake Erie today. Crossing fingers hoping for the best.

Having followed this forum for some time now I believe cb32863's reference to "popcorn" referred to sitting back and watching the anticipated debate and comments about how the situation was handled by the crew and the coast guard.

Yes, that is exactly what I meant. Sorry to those that didn't "get it". I can see this turning in to quite the "I wasn't there, have no idea what the crew was going through, but I will comment and berate them as I believe whatever they did was the wrong thing as I would have done the exact opposite."

Not hard to find that here..... See post #5......

Again my apologies for seeming insensitive....

And a bit of rumor change --

Someone on Scuttlebutt is now saying the USCG was wrong on their first assessment and that Blue Dog is still missing.

Re: Help find missing boat in eastern Lake Erie

Boat has definitely been found and was towed to the Erie Yacht Club last night. It is currently sitting in a dock there with only minor damage (missing backstay).

Thanks everyone for helping.
