Name these sailboats? New Boat Added

Hey all, my office is on a river that dumps out to lake michigan and there are a couple sailboats outside that have caught my eye. Sorry they arent the best pics but lets hear your guesses. (I hope this is the right topic, sorry if it is not.)

Thanks

1) not sure

2) Islander 29 80% sure cause I've been staring at pictures of another one online for the past few weeks.
http://www.harbouryachtsales.com/Pages/page410a.htmlEven the stripe below the deck looks the same.

Re: Name these sailboats?

Great job. I wasn't sure if it would be possible given my lack of info, but those answers appear to google well. I have more pictures on a different camera and hope to get to play again soon.

Re: Name these sailboats?

While 2 is definitely an Islander, it could be a 32 which I have. The only differences I can see in the photos here, the ones in the listing linked to and my knowledge of my boat is that my 32 has the stern lazerette hatch in the center of the stern deck, where as 29 in the listing is in the center, and mine has the holding tank deck fitting on the port side, forward of the shrouds with the vent below as I can see in this picture, but the 29 listed does not have these in the picture. (Of course, they could have been removed, or they might be aftermarket on my boat, I don't know of sure.)

When I compare the two it seems like the one in the picture is a little more deck space in front of the cabin then the one in the listing.

Re: Name these sailboats?

My folks have a cottage in Maine and this is one of the racier boats in the harbor. I have no idea what it is. Why dont companies have more unique symbols like Hinckleys and cars?

Re: Name these sailboats?

The last one ("racier boat" in Maine) appears to be an Ericson 39 flush deck.

Re: Name these sailboats?

I was going to suggest an old Van De Stadt for the second boat but clearly it's not. The first one looks well kept.
