Re: Just wanted to SAY!

Laff. By advertising that you own gun you have just made yourself a major target.
There is nothing in my house worth stealing. Used computers and TV's are worthless.
But a Stolen $1000 gun is worth $2000 and that buys a lot of crack. My gun's are locked up and hidden and unregistered because the best place to get a list of firearms to steal is the police dept. I will never need a gun to defend my house because I am not target.

51 years old.....Never been a victim of crime except a fishing pole and reel stolen out of my porch (my fault...should have been locked up with rest. Stolen by Meter reader most likely.) I have lived in poverty housing and luxury areas and all in between. The only people I have truly be scared of were the police and gun would have not helped there.

Hey I have hunted and been a gun owner all my life.

But only Idiots and Swat teams really need to run around with guns.
Everyone else is just a disaster waiting to happen.

If you're already in my garage and heading for the house...I want you to know what's waiting for you on the other side.

I also have ADT when I'm not home.

Besides....it's not a serious attempt at deterring theft. Just as all my beer signs aren't a serious attempt at attracting drinkers to my house. Or all the Easy Riders centerfolds seriously suggesting I have all those babes. The garage is my man cave. I've got all kinds of crap on the walls.

Re: Just wanted to SAY!

Is this a gun thread or waving thread??? I can't figure out what to say.
If you wave at me, I'll shoot you.
