Florida Keys Marina?

I need some help please. I'm in Key Largo in the process of bringing my boat around to Fort Myers and I've had an issue come up back home that I need to get to. Can y'all recommend any marinas I can leave my boat at for possibly a week or two, will do a monthly if I have to as I'm kind of in a bind. My spec sheet says I draw 4.5 feet, but I think it's closer to five. Also would REALLY prefer a slip to a mooring, as the dinghy I got with the boat is an old inflatable with no outboard, and rowing it is damn near impossible.

Also, how do I go about finding a delivery captain if I need to do that? Just google it?

Pull up ActiveCaptain(dot)com. Register (for free) and you will have access to every marina, anchorage, and mooring in the Key's in a heartbeat.

I can help on both concerns, I kept my boat in Marathon at a private residence that has two slips on a deep canal. Fully protected even in a major storm. Also had my boat delivered back to Virginia by a great Captain that lives in Marathon. I can get you phone numbers for both if you're still in need.

The Key Largo Harbor Marina (305) 451-0045 is on the Altantic side. The entrance can just take 6 ft. at high tide, the shallowest area just in front of the seawall. I left my boat tied to the seawall for a couple of months. It had a couple of scrapes but there is nothing else for sailboats on the Atlantic side until Marathon.
