Squirrel to the Bahamas

Does anyone know if the Bahamas will allow us to bring a squirrel into their country when traveling there?

Here is some info. You may need to contact them for unusual animals.

I don't know the answer, but I love this question. Do you sail with a pet squirrel?

Who is staring at the sea is already sailing a little.

Re: Squirrel to the Bahamas

Red Squirrel or Grey Squirrel?
I'm sure that the Bahamian authorities would treat it much the same as if you had a pet cat or dog with you, except that it is much more agile with a cute, fluffy tail and can hide in more unusual and smaller places. Perhaps you could teach it to climb up into the rigging when you reach port and the customs inspector is due to arrive. Inspectors generally don't look at the rigging of a sailboat and are more interested in money and fire arms then acorns or grains you might be carrying.
