Well I think you would know a bad pumpout for sure! If it winds up on the deck, or worse you should be able to notice!

Liberty Marina on the South River. The young ladies don't really perform any "services", though.

As to the OP - I don't tip for pump outs, since whenever I pump out, it is me handling the hose, etc. All the dockhand does is hand me the hose, turn on the machine, and hand take the hose back. That's if there is a dockhand there at all.

I do tip dockhands that assist when we dock at a marina, if they actually assist.
