What projects have you done or things you have added to your vessel this year. Pics would be better. and whats your winter projects?
i haven't added any thing this season just a outboard. but i plan on doing a lot of work over the winter like new ropes and maybe new blocks not sure yet. but deff new cusion covers and updating the insides

Project 1- I am re-bedding a leaky stanchion. It was bedded in 5200, looked like 5-7 years old and it was hard, cured, dried out. I am re-bedding using butyl as suggested by Mainsail. I had to go to an RV center to find it.
Project 2- I took out 2 of the three 30 gallon SS water tanks that were leaking. The threaded holes into the tanks were corroded (after 38 years). I dropped the tanks off to be repaired, I don't TIG.
Project 3- Sailing today!

Let me think . . .
1) Replaced our conventional Port-Potti with a Porta-Potti "Curve"
2) Repainted the transom (old finish faded, chipped, worn)
3) Built and installed a "gangplank" to make it easier and safer for our dog to board
4) Modified a small window air conditioner and designed a waterproof fabric shroud to allow it's use in our salon overhead hatch.
5) Installed a 12 volt Scirocco fan at the nav station.

The gangplank and air-conditioner projects I plan on posting on the "Low Bucks Project" thread as soon as I get some decent pictures.

Since we bought the boat 3 years ago:

1) 12v outlet(s) at Nav Station & Helm
2) LED Lighting throughout the interior
3) LED anchor light
4) 12v fans added to aft cabin, forward cabin, & 2 in salon
5) Edson radar mount to mast + 24 mile Raymare RD218 radome added
6) Victron BMV-600 battery monitor added
7) Added structure to Bimini frame to mount 215 Watt Kyocera panel...a WIP though. Mounted BlueSky 2512i MPPT charge controller, ran wiring to panel and battery, mounted remote display, etc.
8) Kiwi-prop to replace OEM 3-blade fixed prop
9) ICOM AIS receiver added and interfaced to Raymarine C80 plotter and nav station
10) Raymarine Seatalk/NMEA bridge added to interface all instruments to navstation laptop
11) Ran NMEA cabling to VHF so we have DSC functioning (this should have been done by the factory or dealer...safety issue!)
12) Added blocks and gear to repurpose a spinnaker as an asymetrical (cruising chute)
13) Had to replace my stripped transmission dipstick because Yanmar (in their infinite wisdom) put a plastic thumbscrew dipstick in a metal casing.
14) Your normal run of the mill maintenance tasks (clean teak, oil/filter changes, sail cleaning/repair, freshwater pump replacement, windlass remote replacement
15) Honda EU2000 generator. Not really a boat upgrade, but very useful to run the A/C at anchor or even underway
16) Fishing/trolling gear
17) Shockle based anchor snubbers
18) Rocna to replace OEM Lewmar Claw
19) Stern anchor
20) Better fenders
21) Bottom job
22) Ditch kit. Garmin 76csx, Standard Horizon HX850 w/gps, rigging knives, laser pointing flashlights, mirrors, flares, etc.

Planned/upcoming upgrades and projects
1) Complete solar project
2) Upgrade to 4x Golf Cart batteries
3) Convert windlass remote to wireless entirely. Have the part, its just not working.
4) Replace sails (one more season...please!)
5) Install that bilge pump counter
6) New dink. 10ft Hypalon RIB
7) LED in cockpit (more lighting)
8) Redo the bottom…having some rust issues on keel
9) Galvanic isolator (less needed as I now stay off of A/C power)
10) Upgrade all boat instruments at the helm (autopilot, plotter, wind, depth/speed)

This year I focused on my interior teak. I got almost all of it done before the brutal Texas summer set in.

Now that we're finally starting to cool down, I'll be able to get back to it and finish it up over the winter, along with my exterior teak.

- new gusher foot pump in head.

I may have gone a bit overboard this year on projects...

Tightened the hull-deck joint, tightened all through-deck fittings, fitted all new interior cushions with new foam and new fabric, added 2 full-length cabin rails for hanging lockers and other stuff to hang from, added book/magazine rack in v-berth, replaced 120v breaker, added new privacy screen to head/v-berth, replaced stereo with an amplifier, scraped, sanded and repainted the bottom. Probably a bunch more.
