Gel Coat Wax and Polish!
My gel coat was looking hazy and had salt water streaks...so I grabbed some Meguiars Color Restorer and their Flagship Wax. The Color Restorer brings back color and removes light oxidation. The wax is a high gloss, long lasting marine wax. I used a bit of car wax and polish on a small area and it did nothing...left it dull. So its a 2 step process...Color Restorer, then wax...I finished one side of the boat and WOW....the wife said it looks like its been painted. Rich color, lots of shine..removed all the oxidation...now for the other side! This is hard work! I see why its about 350 to detail a 30 foot boat! Here are some before and after pics....Sorry just cell phone pics....Now can my deck be polished???
