Where did all this stuff come from!?!?

So I have taken one well two more steps in my journey to living aboard and cruising. I moved out of my house and gave notice at my job. I have been renting in this place for 2 and 1/2 years and didn't think there was too much there...I was wrong. It was truckload after truckload. Where did it all come from?

I had tried to sell everything in the house, furniture wise at least, to only minimal success. The rest is now in a horse trailer hoping someone buys it in the next 2 weeks or to goodwill it goes. The rest is in my moms garage and I am trying to sort through more to throw away, I already took the fullest advantage of bulk trash day haha.

Hopefully I don't have too much stuff to cram into the boat, and at the same time hopefully I don't let myself cram too much stuff into the boat!

I will be in Kent Narrows Maryland in 2 weeks, once I finish out at my job in Pennsylvania. Then I am heading early to mid November for the Melbourne/Grant or possibly Key West Area in Florida to see some friends and maybe pick up a little work... from there points south.

CapnBones, on your way down to Melbourne/ Grant, stop off at Malabar and have a pint with the folks at the Malabar Mariners Association. Tell em Captain MeMe sent you.

Make sure you figure out a fair value for the stuff that goers to goodwill. They can provide you wth receipts. You may be able to deduct this from your 2012 taxes. We did in 2010.

There is always Craigslist and Ebay to get rid of your stuff. Yard sales work well too.
I've given stuff away on the last day of the yard sale just to keep from having to haul it away.
