Hurricane Sandy in Rock Hall, MD Sunday.

Hurricane Sandy in Rock Hall, MD Sunday.

The marina is like a ghost town there are only 4 or 5 of us sailors staying on board.

Thanks for posting this and I hope it goes well for you.

I'm in California on business. This is the first weekend I haven't been on the boat all season (figures). She's in her slip at Osprey Point Marina in Rock Hall and should be good. The Dock Master and her team were nice enough to double up the lines and take down the Bimini.

Good luck!

'hope all goes well. I think you're better off on the Eastern shore than those across the bay taking the NE wind across the biggerr fetch. Good luck!

For now. The winds will be clocking around aimed at the Eastern shore by tomorrow. The other side of the Bay will get hit are as soon as the storm makes landfall. It will blow the water out though which is good or all of us.

All those masts bend way back is that real or just a camera effect?

Re: Hurricane Sandy in Rock Hall, MD Monday AM.

Monday AM at the sailing Emporium, Rock Hall, MD and hurricane Sandy is starting to affect us. The primary concern is losing power and for how long.
I am riding a bike to the beach area, about 4 miles one way, to get a view of the Bay.
