Some of us are Geeks, and being so refuse to pay any amount of money for "any" software, information. For those that fit into these categories I am working on a "Free" links site which would categorize links to free software, information, and documents. If anyone knows of good sites, or other methods which they feel should go onto this list please feel free to respond here and I will add them.

VR,

Joseph R. Divelbiss

Joseph, the HF email software that is used by most cruising sailors, all written by Jim Corenman (if you are offering ''thanks'' and attribution), would be:

Sailmail (client software for HF email on Marine SSB radios) - www.sailmail.com

Airmail (ditto client software for file downloading and HF email with ham radios) - www.airmail2000.com

Getfax and Viewfax are two utility programs used with a TNC and SSB to capture RTTY transmissions on any SSB - www.airmail2000.com and follow the link to ''Mad Science Projects''

Good luck on the project!

Jack
