I don't see you in your wetsuit anywhere.

I, myself, personally intend to continue being outspoken and opinionated, intolerant of all fanatics, fools and ignoramuses, deeply suspicious of all those who have "found the answer" and on my bad days, downright rude.

Dear SailNetters, I found this boat that the owner assures me needs just a little cosmetic work. He says that the boat isn't in the water and has very good drainage with really large scuppers. It's all rigged and ready to go. Can you tell me anything specific that I should look for? I don't want to spend more than $5000.

Winged keel or not....Would you be standing there (on a reef, no less)? I wouldn't! And a spade rudder is supporting the entire Stearn? I find that VERY hard to believe! Whats the source/story?

The source/story is a friend took the photo himself, cell phone photo, when the boat ran aground in the fog. As the tide went out the boat remained upright.. When the tide came in the boat floated off.. You'd be surprised how often that happens here in Maine though most do not stand upright....

here's another one (but not my photo) and the source:

And another one and the source:

I was over 1500 miles away, safe and sound at home. See what happens when you leave your parents alone for even a minute!
