Video - UK to Southern Spain

I was asked to compile a short video for the owner of Halcyon Oak. She is a lovely looking boat - and with that name I could hardly say no! (it wasn't a delivery of ours - I was just sent the footage).

They were on passage from Gweek to Duquesa this September. Lots of dolphins, great weather and some nice swimming! Doesn't it just make you want to sail south?

Nice video

Does that boat have no cb or daggerboard at all?

Thanks... She has a long keel which is a more traditional hull shape.

Re: Video - UK to Southern Spain

I noticed a ketch at anchor in the video with the mizzen sail up. Is that to keep the boat pointing into the wind and if so what happens when the wind and tide are in opposite directions?
