Will work for food or money

I'm just curious, what creative tactics do you use to earn money while cruising?

Re: Will work for food or money

1. Print out a bunch business cards with you cell number list the thing that you can do.
2. Hang out at the busy boat yards and be friendly and talk to people.
3. Talk to the owner of the mega yachts, offer boat sitting and clean up work, or any routine maintenance, if you can dive, clean the boat bottom.
4. If you are a physician, give PE and save people's lives
5. IF you are a nurse, doing in boat nursing care.
6. If you are a Masseur, give boat owner a massage.
7. If you are handy and around people who have a need, someone will hire you.

Once the words go out, your phone will be ringing. Do a good job, there will be plenty of work even in this economy.

Good Luck.

Or, you could simply find yourself a hot girl friend, become a "Global Brand Ambassador" for Tommy Hilfiger, and embark on a FREEDOM TOUR...

Yeah, JohnEisberg has it there. That's definitely the best way to make money while out cruising.

I've been told I give really good PE. What do you mean by "Give PE?" Do you mean Physical Exams?

Barefoot! Can you please reduce the size of your photo? Not everyone on a boat has a huge computer screen or Internet download capacity, or the WEALTH to download huge photos.
Irfanview.com has a FREE photo viewer with resizer

Now, to the thread reply. Those tow people are really quite nice, I met them ages ago after reading their blog...l I thought by the blog they were real wankers, but they are very nice.

People working for food etc. They don't! Crew come on without wanting to work. If it was easier to find crew that did want to work for food, keep I would have someone.
