As I understand it, the USAF abbreviates references to the Commanding Officer's Wife as the COW. An old Navy guy like me thinks that is demeaning, but there it is. I must admit, I was udderly surprised to see something of the bovine variety in that boat pic!

Actually a cow on deck is very useful as everyone knows they always face the wind, or is it back to the wind?

seems to me that cows would tend to try to find there way to dirt, like a plant on a ship. I don't think I would paint my boat like a cow, not that I am superstitious or anything?!@
