Angry North River calls it quits

Sorry to be the one to tell everyone this sad news. Mable Smith who was at the North River Boat Yard in St. Marys GA is calling it quits after many disputes with the management of the yard. This is Sad news to everyone in the area as she is a wonderful person and always gave us a great job done in a resonable time.
Anyone wishing to contact her can do so at ... lets all wish her a happy future. Show her you appreciate the hard and great work she has done in the past for us boaters.

What does this mean for the future of the yard? I'm headed that way and was thinking of having some work done there.

Re: North River calls it quits

That's a real shame... sad to hear the news as Mabel's work is totally amazing. Not many have the talent to do a truly professional job like Mabe. I have her phone number -- is it advisable to post it here or ??

Unfortunately arguments and discord occur everywhere and it's a shame the fall-out has resulted in this loss as she had made the boatyard her home in essence -- it seemed she was always there, 7 days a week. Fortunately the fiberglass repair business is portable and her reputation for quality work ought to keep her busy for years to come.

Wishing Mabel all the best......
