I saw this paragraph on a life insurance application.
Sailing is apparently so safe it doesn't even deserve mention compared to really dangerous sports.

There were other paragraphs about flying your own plane also.

Awesome. Although I have participated in at least 3 of the "unsafe" sports and live to talk about it!

PS, don't tell my insurance agent.

Tim, this your insurance agent. If you think I don't know that you scuba dived deeper than 50 ft., sky dived and rock climbed, you really aren't giving me enough credit. BTW- enough with the bareknuckle boxing. I will be raising your rate forthwith.

Skydiving? I may be adventurous but jumping out of a perfectly good airplane aint on my list!

Most scuba divers exceed 50 feet. Even beginners are advised to stay above 60, not 50. And intermediates routinely go to 100, in nice conditions anyway.

So, what are we glad they haven't listed?

Bike riding in the city sans helmet?

Solo swimming out past the surf line?

Non-racing motorcyles?

Skiing New England ice?

Glazing your second-floor windows from a borrowed ladder?

Your turn.
