Toronto International Boat Show

Who's going and when?

I'm thinking of going on the 15th (Tuesday) to do a bit of reconnaissance (and buy the stuff I don't want my wife to know about), then the 19th with my financial advisor (wife).

Some of our sailing friends were talking about going out for dinner on the 19th.

I know that in previous years there has been a bit of a SN get-together. Is that still a possibility?

It would be nice to grab at least a coffee or something with people with whom I spend more time than I should.

Re: Toronto International Boat Show

We are there for the last weekend 18-20th. The Annual D6C Meet and Greet and Lie Telling Shindig will take place on Saturday night, the 19th, in the Chartroom at the Westin harbour castle, starting 8-ish.

It's 5 o'clock somewhere:

Re: Toronto International Boat Show

We'll be there the first weekend. Shopping on the Saturday then in John Neal's seminar til 3:30 on Sunday.

Kinda depressed that it looks like there may be even fewer sailboats this year And likely no C&Cs or Tartans to drool over.

Re: Toronto International Boat Show

I'll be there mid week. Not sure what day yet. I'm looking forward to it even if there aren't very many sailboats. I looking forward to seeing the different storage solutions and finishes.
Hope to find a deal on inflatable life jackets too.

Re: Toronto International Boat Show

Won't be there.

Back home on Lake Ontario after something over 36,000 nm circumnavigator. Not surprisingly there is a lot of stuff I want to get done on Ainia both cosmetically and functionally. Getting an early start so it will be ready to go for next summer (Lake Superior?).

Re: Toronto International Boat Show

I was there today. Lots to look at.
Check out the 28' trailer sailor beside the Benantau boats. Its made in Poland. Way nicer than any Mac I've been on. Heavy though. 10' beam. Nice.
Show price $105000 new. $95 for the new/used one at the show.

Picked up some goodies for my Mac. Deck organizers, slug stop, sliding boom stop, charts, Inflating pfd's and great ideas for mods!
