Wasn't Simon LeBon of Duran Duran rescued in the Fastnet Yacht Race? If I recall he was capsized and survived under the boat?

You definitely have the toughness to prove it. I'll say that.

You know, I've put just over 1,000 miles of mostly off-shore sailing behind me now in several kinds of boats since I met you guys.

Our sail with you and your son on that Bene still stands out as one of the best days our family has ever had on the water. Ever.

We'll never forget it Bubb. Thanks. Really. You'll always be a hero of mine, dude.

good for you a 1000 miles, that's a big step grasshopper

Micheal and I enjoyed our day with your family, anytime you can go sailing on father's day is a good thing! Thanks for the kind words.

Re: Celebrity Sailors Past/Current?

I guess it doesn't count as "sailing" but guess who used to own this one.

Re: Celebrity Sailors Past/Current?

I think Columbus was a sailor who became a celebrity rather than a celebrity who sailed....

Eric Clapton. I think he still owns it. A friend said he saw him in Essex CT over the summer and the boat was in town.
