TimeLock Marine Pilot 1600 - autohelm instructions wanted

Does anyone have instructions for a TimeLock Marine Pilot 1600? This is a small autohelm with a compass dial and a wooden extension which conect to the tiller. I have an Abbott 22 and it came with this autohelm and I cannot get it to work reliably. Thank You.

I'm wandering if you did find instructions for this autohelm because I have the same one and I'm looking for instructions too.
