Free Maintenance in Exchange for Sailing?

Greetings!

I would be interested in a sailing arrangement with someone in the New England area (New Hampshire through Rhode Island) who has a smaller sailboat (22-35 ft) -- such as Cape Dory, Pearson, Alberg, Bristol, Hunter, Catalina, etc, who would be interested in trading maintenance / launch assistance / financial compensation for sailing privileges.

I have a lot of experience and am a 3 boat owner (motorboats) but really enjoy sailing during the summertime. I do all my own maintenance on my boats and have plenty of experience maintaining sailboats (bottom painting, varnishing, electrical, plumbing, etc). I could help you with spring commissioning, ongoing maintenance, projects, upgrades, etc in exchange for being able to sail your boat.

I have US Sailing Bareboat Certification and have sailed the Maine coast and much of Massachusetts with hundreds of hours on the water. I know first hand the expenses and challenges of boat ownership and would treat your vessel with the same respect that I treat my own boats. I am a responsible graduate student and would be happy to provide references.

If you would be interested in talking further, please let me know! Thanks.

Teddy

"Free Maintenance in Exchange for Sailing"

Teddy,
I will put the house up for sale in the morning,
should be able to complete move up your way by early
spring, will have to find a place for the wife and dog to
live but that can wait until I complete my very long
boat maintenance list!

Could be worse -- at least she's not demanding that you sell the boat!
