Re: Nor'easter

If one single inch of snow cancels my vacation, it's a calamity. Agreed?

Nemo who?

That's not Nemo "Cantore" is it?

Has jim Cantore donned his special snowsuit?

Has he started to lecture the mayors or governors yet?

What a crock!
Yes, The Weather Channel started 'naming' winter storms this year. Apparently they are already up to the letter "N".
The NWS does not recognize naming winter storms but TWC uses the naming as extra hype and spin.
I used to watch TWC but not any more since NOAA has more detailed and better info on the web.
Don't believe the hype!

Good luck getting to the BVI's Minnie! Better late than never.

Re: Nor'easter

Looking forward to some snow. Tis winter and ski season. 60 mph winds, not so much! I seem to remember just the opposite problem when I lived in FL. The weather man would be proclaiming the weather to be beautiful on days when you were taking your life in your hands at the tiller. Get them tourists to the beach at all costs. Has that changed?

I am in a western suburb if Toronto and we have about two feet of snow and it is still coming down like crazy. I should be somewhere warm.

Back home on Lake Ontario after something over 36,000 nm circumnavigator. Not surprisingly there is a lot of stuff I want to get done on Ainia both cosmetically and functionally. Getting an early start so it will be ready to go for next summer (Lake Superior?).
