Explosives. Compressed air from a scuba tank will not explode when shot with a rifle. I know, I know, my entire on board shark defense initiative (OBSDI) had to be re-written as well.

My new plan includes a stick with a rusty nail duct taped to the end. You laugh, but I'll bet I'm the only one who is smart enough to use lock Lockjaw as an OBSDI

I think it's a new variation of a bow thruster. All it needs are two controllable jet fittings, one on either side of the cylinder, fill the tank with 1000psi, and you could do a 180 degree turn in about 2.5 seconds!

Since the owner has obviously done all the arcane calculations involved in the design of a bulbous bow, my only question is: what is the purpose of the valve? Is it there to adjust the laminar flow characteristics of the bulb?

in all honesty, i just want to know why he did all the work to mount the gas bottle and left the valve in place. Anyone who would go through all of this effort, not to mention cut a giant hole in the hull!, would not simply forget to remove the valve and seal off the valve mount. It has a purpose, along with the fitting which juts out of the bottom. I NEED TO KNOW!
