Nice one Don. Here is another at Seguin. Can you identify the house in the distance?

My favorite background. Our 1985 Ericson 35-5 at Seal Bay on Vinalhaven.

Tim,

I really can't be sure but it looks like the nicest out house I've ever been privy-ledged to use. Did I get the prize?

Tim,

Where in Seal Bay did you anchor? Do you recommend it? We are planning to launch in Camden this years vacation. That will mean 7 days of exploring Penobscot Bay rather than 2-3 getting there and 2-3 getting back. Any other favorite secluded haunts? Feel free to drop a PM if you like. We'd like to hit Vinalhaven, Deer and Mt Desert. Last night will be Warren Island State Park. It's a few miles from Camden so tack like crazy into the southerlies, get frustrated and motor a little, then pull her and drive for 3 hours home. Well, I've drive, Pam will sleep.

Sorry but no. This photo haunted me for weeks because I knew it was Seguin but there is no house like that on the island. I kept second guessing myself that it must have been Monhegan but again could not place the house. I then showed it to my wife who knew exactly what it was. It is actually a small birdhouse in the foreground of the photo.

OF COURSE IT IS!!!! It's on the pole on the left when you get to the top of the stairs, where the dog du saison greets you! Funny! I thought the resolution was too clear, almost like it was photo shopped.

Re: Sailing Backgrounds/Screensaver Pics Here

There are a couple of places to anchor. It's in beyond seal rock, on the left just before you go up the river. Definitely worth spending a night. NE Hrbor is good for moorings but pricey. Seal harbor on MDI is good for anchoring. Free bus to take you around the island. Check out Mcglathery I or hells half acre in Merchant row(off deer I) Both great places to anchor. Another good one is Buckle island. There is a space/time continuum portal on Buckle I. If you go there, you will know what I mean.

Might be better to stay at pulpit the last night. A little further from Camden but you would not battle the southerlys. Warren is fun too. More trails to hike.

We are doing a two week cruise starting Memorial Day weekend.
