Exclamation New FCC rules for wireless signal boosters

They're here: http: signal-boosters faq.html
(substitute forward slashes for the spaces)

and as I read them, many current marine cell phone booster installations may be invalidated as of March 1, 2013.

Re: New FCC rules for wireless signal boosters

Most boosters that were manufactured in the last few years from reputable companies like Wilson already include carrier protection technologies and should be approved by the carriers without any issue. Older boosters that do not have carrier protection built in can potentially wreak havoc on a carrier's network and should probably be replaced anyway.
