Turandot newish here

I am looking for the cheapest marina to park and live aboard in on the East or Gulf coast, I need 6 feet of water and prefer a warm climate. I was wondering about south of the Hurricane zone as well. Prefer below $400.00 month. I am trying to live off my SSD (Social Security Disability) of which is $1100.00 per month before medicare. Anyone have knowledge of where I might start looking?

Texas might work. It is fairly cheap. Most of Florida will be out of your range unless you are going to live on a ball. I can give you marinas, but the $400 might be an issue.

By the way, I am moving this to the General discussion where you might get more responses.

Look here: Marina

Also in the area are Aransas Pass, Ingleside and Rockport marinas. Port Aransas has quite a waiting list. There is one private marina in CC, but not sure of draft situation. There is a yellow pages type of phone book for marine businesses in Texas, I'll try to get a link to it for you.
