I'm doing a complete refit interior/exterior over the next year.
The boat's tankage is 10/10 water/fuel. I'd like to increase her capacity to 25/25.
I'd like to place the water tank/bladder under the front v-berth, the rest of the v-berth is a storage area, and I think I'll keep it that way.
For the fuel tank/bladder, I'd like to build a custom shelf that allows for a horseshoe shapped bladder to wrap around the the stern/cockpit area underneath the combing.
The cockpit has storage locker doors on the seats, and the floor is removable to access the 1 Cyl 10HP Yanmar.
Does anyone see a problem with this configuration?
Will this configuration cause hobby-horsing and/or balance issues?
Here is a link to the 32' version of the boat on Sailboat data, the configuration/lines are the same as the 26' version: LAURIN 32 sailboat specifications and details on sailboatdata.com
I'm also attaching a photo from the Laurin Koster site.
