Crappy Weather?

North Texas through Tuesday...Thunderstorms with possible tornados, colder, rainy, winds gusting to 35. Perfect!

Re: Crappy Weather?

Crappy Weather here as well. They used to advertise the South East of England as one of the mildest and driest parts of Europe with less rain than Rome.

Time to get the snowsuits out again .

In 2 weeks it's supposed to get to 65 here! Just 39F right now. It's been a rough week in upstate NY ....about 45 inches of snow so far and still going; not so bad at my house, just 18". It should let up by next week. Can't wait for the warm weather!

Re: Crappy Weather?

benesailor...My wifes mom (lives in Nashua, NH) has been staying with us for the past month. For the most part we have had some really nice weather...until this upcoming blast. She is due to return home Tuesday. I keep teasing her about returning to the snow.

Re: Crappy Weather?

It's weird; for the last 2 years we have had 75 degree weather the last week of March. This year; holy s***. Sometimes i think i should have stayed in ND! Not. In all my years of traveling. This has been the best place to sail. Relatively cheap, beautiful summer weather. Great people. This has to be one of the most beautiful places to live in the US. The Finger Lakes, Lake Ontario, The snow, Summer weather. Beautiful. And for the most part, the rest of the nation doesn't know anything about upstate. Ooops, now they do. People down south think i live in NYC. I'm wedged in between 2 dairy farms, one 3500 acres, the other 1700 acres. Nice and quiet. I'll be retiring in about 5-6 yrs. I'll miss the beauty of this place; but not the politics!
Once i motor down the Hudson and out it will be eyes forward and no coming back to new england area.
I may actually end up on the gulf coast. One of the best kept secrets. Lower alabama to New Orleans; gorgeous.

Re: Crappy Weather?

Had light snow, lots of rain, cold temps last few days. I'm ready for Spring to act like it.
