What do I take for repairs ond spares.??

I have had many boats before and carried so much stuff that I never needed or so much stuff I was amazed the vessel still floated.
anything from engine spares to near on a new set of standing rigging and half the shopping items from a supermarket.

So Now I need to make up a smaller repair and spares box.
Apart from tools and a spare set of sails ropes.
What would the members suggest.

Or even better whats in your spare parts locker.?

Robert

Other then extra oil and fuel filters I'm carring what the PO left on board, spare engine belts, fuel pump, alternator and some hoses. Because we are on a 32' boat , mostly coastal sailing and parts are easy to get sent almost anywhere my first mate makes me keep it to a minimum. I would not worry about having repair parts aboard that you couldn't instaill while stranded in the middle of nowhere.
