Big opportunity for someone

Catching Up with Kai, the Hatchet-Wielding Hitchhiker | VICE Australia / NZ

If you have a boat you can teach this guy how to sail and be famous.

The lesson from the Icarus story is not about human failing.
It is a lesson about the limitations of wax as an adhesive.
If you have an engineering problem solve it.

Re: Big opportunity for someone

I would rather teach him how to get a job and become a productive member of society but that is too judgemental I gyess.

I dunno, seems like he's not hurting anybody, not wasting resources,
isn't getting deeper in debt, isn't asking for a bailout, and has recently saved someone's life.

I argue he may be a more productive member of society than most.

Interesting, this difference in perception- if he had a POS boat with no insurance, he'd be called a cruiser, living the dream. Instead, he has a backpack so he should "get a job"?

Looks like he is more than a little bit mental... few coils short of a halyard... but then again, I'm not perfect either...
