A great Dock Master

If your cruising up or down the ICW passing thru the North Mertle beach area (Little river) Caquina Yacht club is the place to stop. The Dock Master Sandy has to be 1 of the best people you will meet. She tries to help out not only all boaters but everyone she can. When shes not playing Dock Master she is helping at 2 homeless shelters.

She is offering all boaters with Boat US transit slips for $1 per foot and if you need anything she does her best to help. She will even take you to 1 of her 2 churches for a free dinner.

Shes 81yrs young and all I say is good luck tring to keep up with her. She lives on her boat , so shes always there to help.

Yes it is she is one is one of the few. The world needs more people like her. I am so tired of people that think the world revolves around them and those that need help are week inferior people and Lazy. We all and I mean ALL need help sometimes and some need more than others. Thats why we need good people all we can get. I could rant for hours but the message is Bravo Sandy and Thank you!

Nice to hear about a pleasant and cooperative dockmaster. Too often, they let the "power" (grinning) go to their heads and become a reason to avoid the place next time which is probably their intent.
