Canaveral Barge Canal

We have heard that there are restricted days of operation of the Canaveral Barge Canal to affect repairs made necessary because a barge damage the canal. Does anyone have any information about this?

Re: Canaveral Barge Canal

The lock is open on the weekends during the day, but closed during the week except for an hour in the morning and a couple of hours in the evening. Here's a link to the press release about the repairs from the Corps......the restrictions are still in place last I checked, although the press release says they should have been done by the end of March.
