Any one have any recommendations for a good thorough surveyor in west Michigan?

I had good luck with Mel Surdel. A-1 marine, or something like that. A google search will return his webiste.

I used Bob Ptak at Lakeshore Professional Marine Surveys last October. He did a great job. He's out of Jenison and his number is 616-340-1931.

I second Mel Surdel. He did the survey for my boat purchase. After three years, haven't found anything he missed.
