No worries... Sounds like you may already have a bypass system on your engine anyway, on many today they have become standard equipment, though most commonly seen on larger engines from Caterpillar, Detroit, Man, etc...

Cheers,

It's got the PVC thing already there is a metal tube coming out of the the valve lifter cover and a 90 degree rubber hose connects to it that sits on the flame asrestor on the carb which helps keeps negative crankcase pressure

Re: Marvels Mystery Oil

Yeah, I know, but nothing seems to come out of the hose - just blowby coming out of the oil-fill cap. One day, when I'm not sailing or working, I'm going to take a close look inside the hose and make sure it's not plugged or blocked with some sort of crud.

Re: Marvels Mystery Oil

Blow by is nothing more than combustion chamber gasses leaking into the crankcase and exhausting through the oil fill cap.

Hey Jeff, C'mon down to the marina Saturday or Sunday and I'll mix you a Green Coconut Margaretta to kill the taste of the Mystery Oil.

Re: Marvels Mystery Oil

Either MMO or green coconut juice should be good for clearing blockages. Both together might just be too much.
