Heck, I think lemon flavored Mio, water and tequilla makes an acceptable Margarita.

I live just across the bridge from Newport, and I'm pretty sure people from providence think that Newport and Bermuda are the same place, just some island off the coast. Just like to us, Providence is "up noath", near Boston and Maine.

Agree, it is great place to have a Dark 'n Stormy.

I have not been back to Bermuda for some time, but it was also pretty good at the Hog Penny, Rum Runners, The White Horse, and even the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club Terrace after the IOD race on Saturdays (I had the pleasure of crewing for Bob Duffy on Coquette) and of course on your own boat after a great day of sailing... Great people, rum and view, in any order.

Re: Dark and Stormy .....

I just got back from the BVI and had some ginger beer and lots of rum but missed out on the dark and stormy (I saw it in passing while ordering Painkillers). Will proceed to buy some and try it post haste.

JeffS - I think members should start posting shore side locations to purchase drink mixing supplies on ActiveCaptian.

Love AC, btw.
