Re: Rainy days suck!

Maybe have a slice or two of banana bread? That always cheers me up!

I was in that area for a while. When I started longingly looking at jumping into the Columbia and not coming back up, I realized it was time to get out!!

I will say though, Portland and Vancouver has some of the nicest people in the country. Easy going and polite and laughing a lot. I miss the people there, but not the weather!!
Even when it rains, I enjoy being on the boat. Today is just beautiful. Can't wait to sit in the back yard and BBQ tonight.

Portland, and Oregon generally, are awesome generally. Beer is awesome here, food equally awesome.

However, lots of bad people starting to appear. Crime is up. The homeless problem amazes me.

Rainy days suck!

Rainey in Fort Lauderdale, too. Upside: no cabin leaks!!!! Downside: mast still wiggly; riggers in Nassau working on bigger fish. Hi to Miz Fatty. You let her sit wherever she wants, per Mr Slink.

Re: Rainy days suck!

Hey, at least the precipitation is liquid. Was snowing today in the upper midwest.
