Jeff_h has been deceiving us!!!

I couldn't believe it.

Sad, really.

All this time, the curmudgeon has been proclaiming all this stuff about performance, boats faster than my rocket C400, pretending he knew something about speed and comfort. Then... guess who pulls into Marathon. Yep, take a peak for yourselves:

I don't know about y'all, but that looks an awful lot like a Oday to me. Nothing wrong with an Oday. Great boat (and a better cruiser than a Farr... duck and run, inside joke), but all this time he has pretended to sell us (or sail us) on a Farr.

Not sure how any of us can trust him anymore. Next thing you know, he will try to tell you that I am not the best looking and smartest male moderator.

Re: Jeff_h has been deceiving us!!!

The real question is why aren't we all in Marathon?

Who's to say that under that clever line of disguising slime and muck along the boot stripe there isn't a pair of rudders, a state of the art T keel and carbon everywhere?? A true sleeper??

"Cause it got more expensive?

Speaking of boats seen there though, I wish I'd had my camera when I passed this one sailboat in my dinghy. He had a hard bimini, with a ceiling fan.

Trust me I have been on his Farr at our club and been passed by it a few times. That boat is an imposter Photoshopped.

His boat would do a horizon job on the Catalina

Good catch on the picture though

Oh well .... Jeff's been deceiving us all, Brian only himself.

Still and all, let's be kind and not smirk.
