Pffft. Obvious riff-raff. I hope he moved on before anyone took notice. I shudder to think of what the neighbors might have said had they thought he was a guest of mine.

I had the same thought, Jim!

I also thought that I'd probably have been content with just that dinghy, though obviously I'm not making the same kinds of trips they are.

That is one gorgeous vessel. It looks similar to one I recently saw in St. Thomas, albeit from a distance so I can't really make a comparison.
