Wallpaper install...

Ok so she wanted wallpaper in the head, I stripped the old old stuff, they had a vinyl paper, the glue was sort of a brownish thing.
What do I use for glue? just regular wallpaper paste or is there something else that I should use?

Re: Wallpaper install...

I was going to say, Mix 1 quart polyester resin with 1oz hardener thin with 1 quart thinners and stir in 1lb plain flour past and stick paper, but then thought someone may do it, so I won't.

Re: Wallpaper install...

Maybe you had vinyl covered panels? Pics would help.

Re: Wallpaper install...

Okay, since no one has come right out and said it, wallpaper on a boat (least of all in the head!) is a really, really bad idea. Forget it. Tell her that it won't work. This is not a house, and you cannot decorate it like it is one. What they had in there was not wallpaper, it was a vinyl cover, and almost no one ever replaces that junk once they get around to tearing it out.

Tell her that she can pick any color that she wants, and you will paint it for her.
